The Maids Experience
The Maids Experience is a groundbreaking production that challenges traditional theater conventions and offers the audience a 21st-century kind of immersiveness and multisensory experience. The timely performance takes a daring approach to reencounter Genet’s interest in taboo, power, BDSM and sexuality.
We have crafted an experience that engages all five senses while incorporating unexpected elements to keep the audience engaged throughout the show.
Collaborating with experienced designer Adva Dayan, we have created a voyeuristic event which takes place inside a character’s bedroom. The lighting and sound were enhanced by special scents developed by a fragrance chemist to add an additional layer of immersion to the the production.
